Ronald Enloe

VERONA – Ronald A. “Stumpy” Enloe, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Ron was born on May 29, 1944 in Madison, WI to Clarence and Betty (Thousand) Enloe. He grew up on his parent’s farm in Blue Mounds and later moved to Verona where he graduated from Verona High in 1962. Ron worked a number of years at Pabst’s Dairy Plant in Paoli, WI and drove bulk milk truck. Later he became a Verona volunteer firefighter and EMT and proceeded to become a Verona police officer, serving the community for 31 years. Ron enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, spending long nights in Rock Dam, watching Packer, Badger and Brewer games, and especially spending special time with his four grandsons. Stumpy will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Ron is survived by his sons, Todd (Marci), grandsons Hunter and Austin of Blanchardville and Troy (Amy), grandsons Breyden and Landen of Verona; siblings, Doug of Connorsville, Patricia of Madison and Brian (Claire) of Boerne, TX; sister-in-law, Bonnie of Brown Deer; and the mother of his children, Rita Paulson of Blanchardville. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Bruce; and step mother, Dorothy.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
