MADISON / PACECO, SICILY - Evangelista “Angelina” Parrinello, age 96, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday September 24, 2016. Angelina was born in Paceco, Sicily on October 15, 1919 to Giuseppe and Francesca Barbera. She married Orazio Parrinello in 1956 and they relocated to Madison, WI in October of 1968. Angelina was a seamstress by trade until she retired at age 65. She enjoyed cooking, watching The Price is Right and football. Angelina will be missed for her homemade biscotti and lasagna.
Angelina is survived by her sons Simon and Joseph (Carol); grandchildren, Angelina, Ashley, and Amanda. Further survived by other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH with entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
