Milo Lee

MADISON – Milo Lee, age 87, of Madison, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29. at St. Mary’s Care Center in Madison. Milo was born February 20, 1929, at the family's rural farm home in Centerville, Wis., the son of deaf and mute parents, Theodore and Bessie (Munns) Lee. Milo married Patricia (Reed) Lee July 5, 1952 in Viroqua, Wis., and they were married for 62 years. Milo joined the Navy at age 16 and served during WWII. The family farmed in the Viroqua area and then moved to Madison in the early 1960s. Milo worked many years at Gisholt and at various trucking jobs over his long career. Milo enjoyed the Packers, playing euchre and cribbage, and the years involved with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corp and Capitolaires. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, working in the garden and at projects around the house. Milo is survived by three sons Gary (Lauri), David (Linda Tuson) and Michael; one daughter, Carol Lee; four granddaughters Melissa Staudacher, Megan Van Horn, Angela Koseck Zittlow, and Raechel Koseck; one grandson, Ted Hardie-Lee and nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Catherine Reed, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, parents Theodore and Bessie Lee, sister Mae Rasmussen, parents-in-law Raymond and Elsie Reed, brothers-in-law Bernard Reed, Roger Reed, Reuben Rasmussen and sister-in-law Mildred Reed.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2126 N. Sherman Ave., Madison with Rev. Gerry Kuhnke officiating. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove, Wis.
