Madison-Robert “Bob” D. Riehle, age 53, passed away from complications from heart failure on October 20, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 3, 1963 in Madison, WI, the son of David and Gertrude (Koeller) Riehle. Bob graduated from memorial High School where he played on the football team. He attended UW Madison and Madison Area Technical College. Bob worked at WPS for 25 years and recently started working at Copps. Since a young age, Bob loved football. He was an avid watcher of football games, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins. Video games were also a passion of Bob’s.
Bob is survived by his wife, Michel Riehle; his dad, David Riehle; mother, Gertrude Riehle; brothers, Jeff (Micki) Lecher Riehle, and Brad (Michelle) Riehle; mother-in-law, Sandy (Jim) McCarthy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave, Madison, with Fr. Tafadzwa Kushamba presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until the time of service.
