Jennifer Lynn “Jenny” Moffatt, age 52, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was born on May 12, 1964 in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Alan and Mary (Brooks) Moffatt. Jenny graduated from Madison East High School in 1982 and went on to attain her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology at UW-Madison.
Jenny grew up on the far Northside and was the first female player in Madison East Little League. Her love of sports continued into high school and beyond. She got so much joy from her dog, Betsy and her cat, Juju Bean.
She is survived by her mother, Mary; sisters, Kim (Tim) Verhage and Sue (Ron) Bernhagen; niece and nephews, Zach, Sam, Emilee, Paul and Josh; and also her beloved friends and fellow dog lovers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alan.
Per Jenny’s wishes, there will be a private family service at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society.
Jenny had many physical and mental challenges, but always maintained a positive outlook on life. Her strong faith also carried her in her difficult times. We will see you again. Love you Jennifer.
