Obituary
DeForest - Mary Weber Hunter, 56, passed away unexpectedly while at home, on Dec. 20, 2016. Mary was born in Milwaukee, Wi. on April 25, 1960, the daughter of Wayve and Marie Weber. Mary graduated from Grafton High School in 1978, and went on to UW Lacrosse for Accounting. Mary worked for the State of Wisconsin’s DNR for 37 years.
In addition to her loving husband, Elgin Hunter, Mary is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Hunter (Anthony Cook); her sons, Matthew Hunter (Bristol Walsvick), Edward (Melissa) Hunter, and Andrew (Audrey) Hunter; grandchildren Miaya, Issac, Isiah and Hannah; her mother, Marie Weber; brother, Jonathan (Candy) Weber; sister Sarah Weber (Peter Dustira); aunts, Fay Ann O’Brien, Lucy Klahn, Lois Maduzia; uncle, Gene Maduzia; nephews, Charlie (Maggie) Weber, and Tom Dustira; nieces, Laura (Tim) Sterling, Katie (Jim) Tiderman, Patty (Ben) Mortimer, and Maria Dustira; and numerous cousins.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Wayve Weber; brother, Tommy Weber; uncles, Richard O’Brien, John Klahn, and Everett Weber; aunt, Catherine Weber; and cousins, Steve Klahn and Eric Weber.
Visitation will be at Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Rd., Deforest, on Monday, Dec. 26, from 5 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church, 623 Jefferson St., Deforest, with visitation from 10 am until the time of Mass. Interment to follow at St. Olaf’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, all monetary gifts will be donated to Mary’s favorite pet shelter, and the EMS Unit that tried so hard to save her.
