Obituary
Madison – Virginia Ann Finhert, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at home surrounded by her family after a hard fought battle against breast cancer and Parkinson’s disease. She was born on November 23, 1947 in Monroe, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Brager) Johnson. She graduated from Blanchardville High School and MATC. She worked for 35 years at UW Madison in the Payroll and Benefits Department.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Finhert; daughter Tara (Tony) Ukadibia of Madison; granddaughters Olivia and Isabella; siblings Phil Johnson of Oregon and Chris (Jim) Warchol of Grapevine, TX, brother-in-law Arne (Eleanor) Finhert of Oregon; and nieces and nephews Travis Johnson of Verona, Adam Warchol of Grapevine, TX, Lynette Tourdot of Conrath and Eric Finhert of Madison.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of services. Burial will be held at a later date.
