Obituary
Madison/DeForest-Diana J. Zitlow, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on October 8, 1948, Madison, the daughter of Raleigh and Jeannette (Black) Hasz. Diana graduated from Madison East High School in 1966. She married Gary Zitlow on July 3, 1969. Diana worked for the State of Wisconsin for many years retiring in 2013. Diana was an avid reader. She enjoyed camping and especially loved spending time with her family.
Diana is survived by her sons, Leon and Shane Zitlow; granddaughter, Sophia Zitlow; brothers, Steve (Lil) Hasz and Rick (Jill) Hasz; her nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Beatrice Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; her parents, Raleigh Hasz, Jeannette (Hasz) Zitlow; and stepfather, Gerald Zitlow.
Diana’s family would like to thank the DeForest Area EMS/Police Department for the care they provided.
