Obituary
Madison-David “Dave” Leonard Wolff, age 70, of Madison, WI passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017, after a valiant and courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
David was born in Madison, WI on July 25, 1946. He graduated from Madison Central High School in 1964 and continued on to receive an Accounting degree from Madison Area Technical College.
Dave married the love of his life Janet Uhalt on September 14, 1968 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Madison, WI celebrating forty eight years together.
Dave worked his entire career for Temperature Systems, Inc. for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid supporter of University of Wisconsin band and athletics, especially basketball, having season tickets for over forty years.
Dave is survived by his wife Janet; son, Rick (Valerie); daughter, Cathi; and three grandchildren Garrett, Zachary and Marissa; and sister Lorraine (Jerry) Sager with many other family and friends.
Dave's request is for everyone to wear Wisconsin/red casual attire.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at ST PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N Sherman Ave, Madison, with Msgr. Charles Schluter presiding. Visitation will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church from 9am until the time of service. Burial will follow the funeral at St. John’s Cemetery at 2pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to Garding Against Cancer in Dave’s Memory. We would also like to thank Agrace for the compassionate care, especially his primary RN, Rebecca. Additional thanks to Dr. Bingham of UW Health, and Dr. Lubner of the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Dave’s legacy will live on forever. Once a Badger, always a Badger and On Wisconsin!
