Verona- Dorothy A. “Dot” McHenry, age 91, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Four Winds Manor in Verona. She was born on February 7, 1926, in Geneva, Il, the daughter of Clarence and Erma (Fasel) Lundgren. Dot started working for Coca Cola in her twenties and would continue to work there until her retirement. After retirement, she wrote crossword puzzles which she also enjoyed solving. Her and her husband Billie enjoyed travel. She also enjoyed cross stitching and knitting. Dot was an avid classical musical lover. She played the cello and piano and was a member of the Burbank Symphony Orchestra.
Dot is survived by her son, Jack McHenry; granddaughters, Alexis Matts and Andrea Schultz; grandsons, Matthew Hennessey and Cameron Schultz; great-grandchildren, Monona Hennessey and Abigail Hennessey; brother, Clarence Lundgren; sister, Mary Lundgren and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie McHenry; daughter, Juli Blackmer; and sister, Shirley Lundgren.
