Obituary
MADISON- Jerry Eugene Gallagher died November 6, 2017 in Madison. Jerry was born December 4, 1934 to parents Eugene W. and Mary (Poppie) Gallagher. Jerry attended Middleton High School. He married Christine Wilson (deceased 2007) on May 22, 1954. He was a home builder for many beautiful houses in the Madison area and in later years built steel buildings. Jerry enjoyed talking politics, spending time at the airport, family chicken dinners and driving in the Wisconsin countryside. He was very proud of his Irish heritage.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, William and Keith Gallagher; sisters, Elizabeth Lincicum, Olive Keller, Margaret Smith, Gladys Bailey, Ann Munz, Dolly Olson and Dorothy Klein; and grandson, Chase Femrite.
He is survived by daughters, Debi (Charlie) Sitkiewitz, and Julie (Vance) King; son, Darin (Claire) Gallagher; five grandchildren, Sarah and Shannon Sitkiewitz, Tiffany Anderson, Ryleigh and Teagan Gallagher; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 1, 2017, at JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, Madison, with the Rev. Heather Hayward presiding. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
