Obituary
MADISON- Sheri L. Rembert, age 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, surrounded by her family, after complications from a long, hard fought battle with cancer. She was born on November 10, 1957 in Milwaukee, the first child of Donald L. and Betty J. (McGreevy) Feldbruegge.
Sheri earned her bachelors in nursing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Not only was she an incredibly accomplished nurse of over 30 years, but Sheri was also an avid gardener, life-long equestrian, and gifted artist. She surrounded herself with nature and beauty she curated with her own creativity. Sheri and Donald E. Rembert were united marriage in Madison, WI, on February 12, 1993. Together they raised two daughters, Nina Rembert and Laurel Burns.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Donald Rembert; daughter and stepdaughter, Nina Rembert and Laurel Burns; grandchildren, Noah and Isaiah Halverson; parents, Betty and Donald Feldbruegge; and siblings, David Feldbruegge, Michael Feldbruegge, and Lori Dettmann.
A special thanks to all of Sheri’s dear friends and coworkers at the UW Hospital Learning Center, who have been an incredible source of happiness and support for nearly a decade.
A private celebration of Sheri’s life will be held.
