Obituary
DEFOREST – Frederic William DeMinter, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Fred was born on January 27, 1933 in Queens, NY. He married the love of his life, Helen J. Skalitzky, on October 8, 1955. Fred was the master of many things, mostly life and his greatest accomplishment was his family. He loved fishing, camping, cars, motorcycles, the Colorado Mountains, and the Wisconsin River. Fred was well loved and respected by all that knew him.
Fred is survived by his wife of 62+ years, Helen; children, Mark (Debbie), Alaine (Gary) Stetler, Robert, Patrick (Pattie), Susan (Chris) Hulberg, Peggy (Jeffrey) Rygiewicz, Christopher, and Matthew (Tammy); 27 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
