Denis, Bill and Sarah, I recently learned of Mrs Gaydon's passing and wanted to wish you all condolences as a family. I remember the very kind Myrl well and have often thought of her and you Denis, Bill. The time we went fishing together for the trout fishing opener, all the league Lakers hockey play Bill was a goalie for, hanging out together at the Hartmeyer games. All the fishing Bill and I did at my favorite piers fishing spots in MB, that one time Bill fell off the ramp at the Ramseys and I jumped in to save him 😉, my best friend at that time. Our fabulous bass fishing trip to Watts Bar Lake in TN, our guide Gathier Jano who caught that 5 or 6 pounder on a Big O. Mrs Gaydon was always the nicest mom I knew after my mom ofcourse. My mom passed May 3rd 2019 close to Myrl's passing. We lost 2 great ladies. One last note, Denis, is that I rowed heavy 8s crew at Wisconsin and swam, an All American. Due to you, my curiosity sparked at your Sheridan drive home with your rowing pictures you showed me on display and that Myrl talked about all the time, I rowed. And, Myrl was a great cook! I rowed in Europe some too, Denis. 20 years overseas. I think you did some coaching at Purdue if I remember. Again, my condolences to you Denis, Bill and Sarah. Sincerely yours, your little Jimmy "Ben" Hobbins coachbenhobbins@gmail.com // 608-513-3535
