Obituary
DeForest – Dorothy Hahn, age 94, died on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Waunakee Manor. Dorothy was born on August 30, 1923 in Lodi, WI to Maurice and Rose (Fitzsimmons) Reppen. In February 1941 she married Elmer Hahn. She and Elmer farmed in the DeForest area. She was a longtime member of the Norway Grove Memorial Church.
Dorothy is survived by her four children; Jean Tinnermeier (Elden Johnson) of Fort Collins, CO, Jerry (Karen) of Dane, Rita (David Brugger) of Madison, and Cindy (fiancé Dan LaValley) LeMieux of Nashua, NH; nine grandchildren, David Tinnermeier of Boulder, CO, Connie Tinnermeier of Fort Collins, CO, Julie (Jon) Sadler of Naperville, IL, Jill (Duane) Grinde, of DeForest, Jeff (Kim) of Dane, Jayson (friend Libby) of Dane, Jim (Allison) of Dane, Angela LeMieux of Brighton, MA, and Jerome LeMieux of Nashua, NH; five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Adam, Nathan, Madalyn, and Mitchell; and sister, Rosemary (Roger) Lee of Waunakee. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Phyllis; brothers-in-law, Arnold and Howard; sister-in-law Mary; and son-in-law, Ronald Tinnermeier.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at NORWAY GROVE MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 820 River Road, DeForest, with Rev. Stacy Gahlman-Schroeder presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Norway Grove Cemetery.
