Madison – Carrie B. Buie, age 30, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born on July 29, 1987 in Ocean Side, California, the daughter of Melissa Smith and Shar-Ron Buie. Carrie was very free spirited and proud that she was able to complete her GED a year ago. Her biggest joy in her life was her son Dantáe.
Carrie is survived by her son, Dantáe; mother, Melissa Smith; father, Shar-Ron Buie; grandparents, Paula Burke, Edwin Magli, Deloris (Ron) Blevins and Robert House; aunts and uncles, Carrie (Don) Braxton, Clarrisa (Jimmy) House, Samantha Robbie, Tamu (Ricky), Robert D. (Star) and Phillip Blevins; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Steven Roger Smith; great-grandparents, Fred and Carrie Buie; aunt, Mary Buie; uncle, George Buie; and cousins, Thomas, Orlando and Fred (Danny).
A committal service will be held at 11am on Friday, April 6, 2018 in the chapel at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS, 3054 Highway BB, Madison, WI.
