Ruth Welch

WAUNAKEE – Ruth D. Welch, born February 18, 1926, has closed her eyes here and opened her eyes in heaven, to be with her beloved husband Don (her eternal partner), with her devoted daughter Susan by her side. In her younger years, she worked for Mendota Mental Institute and Central Colony for about 7 years as a medical secretary, then stayed home to raise her beloved children, Michael and Susan, which she said “was a pleasure”. Ruth is survived by her son, Michael (Patti) Welch; daughter, Susan (Ricky) Stearns; grandchildren, Jennifer Heimann, Angela Heimann and Justin Welch, and 9 great-grandchildren.
