MADISON, WI/CHICAGO, IL/ SOUTH HAMPTOM, MA/ TALLAHASSEE, FL – George Michael Polzine, age 32, passed away untimely on March 23, 2018. Georgie was born on September 22, 1985 in Madison, WI to Jon and Margo Polzine. He graduated from UW Madison with an English degree. Georgie was a self taught singer, guitar player and a born entertainer with quick wit and a spark for having fun. He could easily put smiles on the faces of family, friends, and even strangers that had the pleasure of being around him.
It has taken us over four years to write this obituary. Georgie’s loss left a huge hole in our hearts that will never fully heal. We love him and miss him every single day.
Georgie is survived by his parents; aunt Laurie, uncle Mike; and grandma Cherie Polzine. He is further survived by many cousins, other family members and friends. Georgie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Mary Belz and Curt Polzine.
A Celebration of Life for George and his grandmother will be held at Noon on Friday, July 22, 2022 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, Madison. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. We will be saying goodbye to Georgie and his grandmother at their final resting place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
