Verona –
William "Bill" Chapman, age 64, died Thursday April 19, 2018 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Dodgeville, WI on April 30, 1953; the youngest of ten to Elmer and Jeanette (Kabele) Chapman. He graduated from Scales Mound, IL in 1971, then enlisted in the USMC in 1972. After moving to WI, he married Mary Jo on November 22, 1981.
Bill is survived by his three sons, Shane, Dustin (Whitney) and Chase (Abigail) Chapman; grandchildren Ruby, Autumn and another on the way (Dustin), Marilyn and William (Chase) Chapman; seven siblings; father-in-law Robert Bennett; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Jo in September 2016; his parents; mother-in-law, Ann and two sisters.
Bill's memorial service will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 220 Enterprise Dr. Verona on Sunday, May 6 at 12:30pm. Visitation begins at 11:00am until the time of service. Casual attire preferred.
