MADISON – Paula Diane Peterson, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2018 in her home. She was born on Thursday, March 24, 1955 in Massachusetts, the only child of Frank and Mary Lou (Browne) Dunbar. Paula attended Madison East High School. She worked for many years as an accounting clerk for Alliant Energy, until her recent retirement. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gary; daughter, Dawn; step-daughter, Valerie; and grandchildren, Jaymeson, Devin, Melody. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Nicole. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 16, 2018, with visitation from 12:00 PM until time of service at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison.
