Thomas Faust

Thomas J. “Tommy”, “TJ” Faust, passed away on March 17th, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 26, 1938 and was a life-long resident of Madison, WI.

He graduated from Central High School and worked at the same place for 40 years for companies including Purina, Hazelton Laboratories, and Covance when he retired at age 60.

He had a passion for life and his enthusiasm was infectious. He enjoyed playing cards, watching old movies, listening to music, and was an avid fan of UW Badgers, Brewers, and of course the Green Bay Packers. Tom also had many long time friends that he enjoyed spending his time with hunting, fishing and playing cards.

He is survived by 2 brothers, William (Dorothy) Faust and Raymond Faust; sister, Sandy Messany; nieces and nephews, Jennie (Chris) Heiser, Jean (Brian) Van Rixel and Terry (Diane Brault) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Florence Faust, and sisters, Francis Smith, Joyce Mannahan and Loraine Clementi.

Special thanks to Caroline Hall a special friend of TJ’s for taking care of him in his last months. Also to hospice nurses Rebecca Johnson, Keri Berling and the entire Magenta Team at Agrace Hospice for their help and service.

At TJ’s request no funeral service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at the Esquire Club, 1025 N. Sherman Ave. Madison, WI. on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 11am to 2pm. A lunch will be served at noon. All friends and family who care to join are welcome.
