Madison – Susan I. Gall, age 67, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 in Madison. She was born in Burlington, Wis. on May 24, 1952, the daughter of Charles and Lorraine (Haufle) North.

Susie grew up on her family Guernsey dairy farm. She took great pride showing her cows at local and state fairs. The memories on the farm brought her joy throughout her life.

Sue loved to travel – one of her favorite trips was visiting Morocco during college. She was also an avid bowler, winning many leagues and trophies.

She graduated from Waterford High School in 1970, and continued her education at UW-Madison, receiving her B.S. in Agriculture in 1974. Sue retired from Bancroft Dairy, after being employed with them for over 20 years.

She is survived by her son, David (Jennifer) Gall; David’s sister, Ami (Mike) Todd; brother, Dennis (Eileen) North and sister, Christine North.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald North.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest with Pastor Robert Neubert of Burke Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org. A special thank you to Fountainhead Homes for taking care of Sue in her final years.
