Obituary
Joseph “Joe” M. Beyer, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on March 30, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Joseph A. and Marie (Holzman) Beyer. After graduating from Edgewood High School, he began his career as a linesman at American Telephone and Telegraph. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 33 years, attaining the rank of Master Sgt. Joe loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by his children: Matthew (Becky) Beyer, Joseph Beyer and Keri (Chris) Zentko; 5 grandchildren, Colton, McKenzie, Kollyn, Amanda and Lindsey; and former wife, Beverly Beyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Jeannie Beyer and brother, Ronald Beyer.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Ryan Funeral Home 220. Enterprise Drive, Verona. Military Honors will take place at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
