Dearest family, My heart goes out to all of you at a time of great sorrow. Francis' was one special person and I will say that there is no one that comes close to the love he gave to those that knew him. Our Dad just loved spending time with cousin Francis and family. I have treasured the Saturday that Marge and I met up with him at Devils Lake a couple of years ago! And the phone call we shared with him while we were in Mazo. I know everyone will miss those calls! He may have left this life but his love and memory of him will always be with us! Much love to all! Marianne

My fondest memories go back to when Uncle Francis, his family, and many other relatives would meet in Dodgeville at Aunt Laura and Grandpa McMahan's home.  We'd pick teams, play ball at the Park, and had a great time. Another was being at Club 18 on many occasions listening to his Shamrock band and trying to dance.  We often wrote letters back & forth, but finally decided the telephone was much easier.  Over the past several years we often chatted two or three times a week.  We spoke just a few days before his passing.  I'll never forget all the times I spent with my Uncle Francis.  May he rest in peace.    Robert
