I had the pleasure of meeting Jay at Noel Manor. He was so caring and nice. He donated many bottles of wine for our wine lovers and bought me a beautiful plant. Jay will be missed by us all at Noel Manor and my deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time. Michelle Zinck

I was one of the many students that Mr. Borroughs had a positive impact on. The most impactful lesson that he taught me was "if you don't learn from the past, you're doomed to repeat it". I always looked forward to my next conversation/lesson with him, my last being at the Verona beach while he was fly fishing. Verona was lucky to have him, I respected him and he will be missed, but I'm happy that he's now reunited with Mrs. Borroughs, she was the best 🙂 Aaron Osten

Mr. Borroughs was my favorite teacher. I have great memories of AP European History, and in particular Quiz Bowl and debates in class. I remember his no-nonsense attitude, and his humor. Ramie "Red" Leonard.
