Obituary
DEFOREST – Yvonne C. Timm, age 92, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Oakwood Meadows. Yvonne was born on June 22, 1929 in Madison, WI to Theodore and Garlin Femrite. She married the love of her life William “Bill” Allen Horstmeyer in 1949. After Bill passed, Yvonne started her career as lab technician and later retired from the genetics lab at the University of Wisconsin. She loved making stained glass and quilting.
Yvonne is survived by her sons, Robert “Bob” (Ann) Horstmeyer and William “Bill” Horstmeyer; grandchildren, William Horstmeyer, John Horstmeyer, and Robert Horstmeyer; great grandchildren, Tyler and Shane; siblings, Sharone (Joe) Orzechowski and Theodore Femrite. She is further survived many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and her sister, Arlene Schmidt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at NOON on Monday, July 12, 2021 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. A visitation will be held from 10AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
