Madison - Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Ronald A. Frazier a resident of Madison Wisconsin. Ronald A. Frazier, 62, died unexpectedly February 17, 2022 at home. He was born on January 5, 1960, in Chicago Illinois, the son of James and Pinkie Frazier.

Ron graduated from East High School, Class of 1978. He was an excellent student and musically gifted to skillfully play most musical instruments.

He loved to cook and enjoyed walking. Following graduation, he was a client in Journey’s Gateway Community Support Program for more than 20 years.

He is survived by Sherman Frazier, Jerome Frazier, Wanda Moore, Denise Settle, Sam Settle, Kristin Williams, Kenneth Alexander and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ron was predeceased in death by his mother Pinkie M Frazier; father James Frazier; sisters Jean E. Alexander, and Davida Frazier; brothers William Scott, and Derrick Frazier; nephew Kevin Alexander.

Ron will be greatly missed. Our family respects the wishes of Ron and will not be holding formal services. Though Ron was a private person, he was an important part of his family and his loss is deeply felt.

A service of remembrance of Ron’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 following a viewing at 10:30 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home – West Side, 5701 Odana Rd, Madison, WI 53719. I lived in the same Porchlight building as Ron for the past three years, Mifflin Manor and we both loved it here! Ron especially loved my little dog, TOBY and TOBY sure LOVED Ron! When you got he ear kisses from Toby, you were special and Ron got them on the first day of their meeting! Never had happened that quickly with anyone but Ron and Toby goes to your door each day looking for you!Loved going with you each week to KFC to get your 9 to 12 original recipe chicken thighs you'd fear would be extra crispy and it always worked out just fine! Loved taking you for your errands to the tobacco and dollar tree stores too! Will miss sharing my Christmas and Thanksgiving Day fixings with you too! Loved your loved my pumpkin pie!In my years knowing you, I never heard you say not one bad word of anyone, ever cuss, say anything mean or wrong, ever but want to only be kind and genuine to others! You really were an inspiration to man's goodness and kindness. God love you Ron and God bless you! You were a good man and an ever kind soul! I miss you already and pray the Good Lord grant you his peace and you're enjoying the oldies music up in heaven you loved in my car, especially the Supremes and the Spinners! You knew them all so well!Thanks for your goodness in my life and for your love of Toby! Rest in peace, my dear friend! I knew Ron through Journey Mental Health Center. I admired his determination and persistence. He was a one of a kind of guy. My condolences to his family.
