I always remember one day when dad and I stopped at his farm for something and it was HOT, and Lornie had on his trademark bibs, dad made some comment about the heat and Lornie said " I'm sick and tired of sweat running down the crack of my a**" !! Dad and I laughed for years over that comment!! He was a great farmer and neighbor, may you RIP Lornie 🙏

I've known Lornie and the family since I was 14. Then we have been neighbors for 50 yrs. Lornie and I had a bond after we lost our son and 6 months to the day they lost Ron. Ron also babysat for our son at night and Kevin loved having a "guy" for a sitter. If I was outside and he was on his John Deere, he would stop and come over and we'd talk about our "boys". He always asked me when does the crying end. I told him never, but we'd make it through and told him he could come and talk as often as he needed to because it helped me too. I felt so bad when Pat died, as that was another tragedy he had to live with. I love the Spahn family and will deeply miss Lornie. I've been BFF with his sister Bonnie for 61 years. RIP Lornie. Hope you are with Pat, Dave and Ron.
