Renee Selje

Renee M. Selje, age 58, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 29, 1962 in Janesville, WI the daughter of Karen (Nitke) Seales and Gary R. Seales. From her first marriage to Thomas Oberpriller, Renee was blessed with two daughters, Alicia and Tiffany. Renee was a dedicated Walmart employee for 26 years. She worked in nearly every department over the years and finished her career in her favorite department, the Garden Center. Her co-workers there became her second family. Renee was united in marriage to Gary Selje on June 14, 2014 at Goplen Farm in Albion, WI. Together they created an environment of enjoyment for not only themselves but also for family and friends. Their love proved that the 3rd time CAN be a charm.

Renee enjoyed scrapbooking and making cards. She had an entire room dedicated to her crafting. She also loved gardening, traveling, photography, camping and spending time with family and friends. On her off days Renee loved floating in her pool. She also learned to love Lutefisk.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughters, Alicia (Kelly) Tribune and Tiffany (Clarence Almond) Oberpriller; grandchildren. Kelly, Arriyanna, Kaliyah, Jada, Janessa, Kyah and Jaylen; great-granddaughter, Serafina; mother, Karen Seales; father, Gary Seales; sisters, Justine Jung, Lisa (Tom) Wright and Ashley (Josh) Fortier; brothers, Jason and Tyler Seales; and many other beloved family and friends.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, private services will be held.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for the wonderful care they gave.

Memorials may be made to Children’s Miracle Network, which was an organization that Renee was very active with through her time at Walmart.
