Verona – Audrey K. Hagen, age 77, passed away on November 11, 2024, at The Legacy at Noel Manor. She was born on May 18, 1947, in Madison, Wisconsin to parents Russell and Doris (Field) Marquardt.
Audrey married Dale A. Hagen on February 4, 1967, at Mount Olive Church in Madison. For over forty years, she was involved with the Firefighters Auxiliary, volunteering in her community, and many travels. She loved sewing and cherished spending time with her family. Audrey battled with Parkinson’s Disease for over thirty years. She will always be remembered for her strength.
Audrey is survived by her husband Dale; 2 children Tim (Marylou) Hagen and Amy-Jo (Mike Rink and his son Clayton Rink); 4 grandchildren Cassidy (Nathan) Cokenour, Halli (Caleb) Bohrer, Jake (Renee Rech) Hagen, and Morgyn Peterson; brother Lynn “Barney” (Shari) Marquardt; and her sister-in-law Jane Marquardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Larry, and her infant son Todd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James Lutheran Church or to Agrace Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 427 S Main St, Verona, on Saturday, November 16, 2024. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

I had the pleasure of meeting Audrey and Dale at Noel Manor when I used to work there. Audrey was such a sweet wonderful lady, she will be dearly missed. My deepest sympathies to Dale and family, thinking of you all at this sad time❤️
