Obituary
Madison – Roman P. Fass, age 89 passed away on December 15, 2020, at the Don & Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg.
He was born in Roxbury, WI on July 14, 1931, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Fassbender) Fass. He farmed for many years and later worked at Gardner Baking Company. He enjoyed being with his family as well as visiting with neighbors and taking long walks.
He is survived by four children, Betty (Jim) Kruse, Carol (Chuck) Meier, Peg (Shanu) Kothari, Mary (Gary) Anderson; seven grandchildren, Jen (Craig) Carncross, Jay Breunig, Daniele (Dave) Hitz, Branden (Brandee Dugan) Kruse, Sean Anderson, Brittany Kothari and Samantha Kothari; five great grandchildren, Gavin Carncross, Nolan Carncross, Haley Hitz, Maddie Hitz and Ella Hitz; a son-in-law, Ken Breunig.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Breunig; two sisters, Lucille Roelke and Marian Endres; and two brothers, Marvin and infant brother Charles.
Because of COVID, no memorial service will be held at this time. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care during Dad’s last months by the staff at Agrace Hospice Center, especially the staff/family in the Memory Care Unit. Memorials may be made to the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53711.
Great Grandpa thank you for helping us work on puzzles and pickup our toys. We will miss you.
