Hugh Morrison

Sun Prairie, WI - Hugh Elmer Morrison, age 84, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 3, 1936 to Gerald and Lucille (Wiese) Morrison in Madison, WI. Hugh married the love of his life Sharon Spoerl on October 31, 1959 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Madison.

Hugh was a dedicated Police Officer for the Village of Maple Bluff and worked for Findorff Construction until retirement. Hugh spent many years as a WIAA basketball official.

Over the years Hugh enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and other countries. He was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer sports fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren.

Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sharon; children, Mike (Karen) Morrison, Dawn (Dan) Noltner, Vicki (Tom) Morris, Steve (Yesenia) Morrison; eight grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; six step grandchildren; brother, Jim (Sue) Morrison; Brother-in-law, Jim Heideman; two nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald (Sharon) Morrison and sister, Mary Heideman.

A Private Mass of Christian burial will be held.
