The world has lost a shining beacon. Janet Kathleen Schwandt passed on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The daughter of Robert and Ruth Bell grew up in Berkley, Michigan.
Janet married her high school sweetheart, Leonard Schwandt, in 1968. Soon after Beth, Joe, and Bill were born. With 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, Janet had a full lifetime of children to love.
Janet and Leonard lived in South Range, Michigan, where Leonard keeps the home filled with love for all to visit. With family spreading from Michigan to Japan, Janet was loved by many.
Janet was known as Mom, Ama, Sister, and Aunt by dozens throughout the extended family. Anyone that knew Mom will hear her speaking to you right now, “Don’t feel bad for me. I am with My Lord. Celebrate the times we had. I will be watching over you and sending my love.”
