Noi Thepvongsa

Madison - Noi David Thepvongsa, age 65 of Madison, Wisconsin lost his battle to cancer in the comfort of his home where he shared with his wife, Phitsamay. Noi was born to Phomma and Thongsouk Soulignaphongphanh on December 19th, 1955 in Ban Phakaw- Vientiane, Laos. He came to America in 1980 where he lived and built a life in Twin Falls, Idaho with his former spouse, Khanthaly and their three children.

In 2000 he moved to Wisconsin where he met his soul-mate and remained happily settled for 19 years and gained three step children he always treated like his own. He enjoyed music and had a true passion for playing his piano keyboard with his wife as his singer. In his free time, he loved taking his boat out to Sauk City where he shared great memories with his sons-in-laws, sipping on chilled beer waiting for something to bite until dawn. One of his hidden talents was fixing cars. He also loved watching tennis (even though he didn’t play tennis at all) while eating his favorite dish, raw larp with sticky rice and a tall glass of iced cold water. He spent his last few months cherishing and building many moments and laughter with his wife who stayed by his side during his last moments.

Noi is survived by his wife, Phitsamay; his children, Lily (Noy), Meme (Ramogi), Tommy, Linda (Honda), Danny (Kimberly), Jeffrey, and Jenny. Fourteen grandchildren; Kevin, Tiana, Kyla, Rylan, Jaylen, Alaysha, Cayden, Samiyah, Leah, Kamdan, Payton, Eli, Aavina, and Lucas. And siblings; Bounlerth, Vilath, Suvalee, Vila, Viengkham, Bounpheng and Phikoun.
