MADISON - Phyllis A. Pulver, age 79, passed away on July 6, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Phyllis was born on October 13, 1941 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Harvey and Helen (Baumgartner) Niendorf.
Phyllis grew up on the family homestead in Mazomanie, where she enjoyed participating in 4-H and graduated high school in 1959. She was married on August 9, 1961 in Marxville, WI to Marvin Pulver. Their marriage was blessed with five children. Phyllis was a loving homemaker and caretaker. During her working years, she enjoyed working in food service at Kmart and as a representative for Tupperware. She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She was a sports enthusiast and dedicated fan of Wisconsin teams. She enjoyed playing BINGO and attending parades. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by children, Bonnie (Mike) Meiller, Brenda Fry, Mark Pulver, and Marie Pulver; grandchildren, Amanda (Tony), Tammy (Sophie), Heather (Kyle), Mikey, Kevin (Allison), Sebastian (Chanel), Justin, Andrew (Alissa), Matt, Halee (Joel), Denise (Braden), and Xaiver; great-grandchildren, Brian, Alisha, Savana, Noah, Kalli, Parker, Abbi, Zoey, Jake, Liberty, Kenzi, Blake, and Caleb; siblings, William, Erleen Hankins, and Erland; also survived by other loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Carl and Hilda Pulver; infant daughter, Gloria; granddaughters, Angela and Ashley; sons-in-law, Lee and Phil; brother-in-law,Tom and sister-in-law, Pat.
The family would like to thank her doctor of forty-two years, Dr. Zorba Paster for his dedicated medical care, and Agrace Hospice for their kindness.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison. Visitation will take place from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the funeral home, as well as, Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
