Steven Loga

Steven “Steve” Dale Loga, age 72, passed unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from natural causes. He was born to Raymond and Alma (Olson) Loga in Whitehall, WI.

Steve proudly served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Steve was always considered a hard worker and spent his career as a skilled carpenter and tradesman. Through the years he constructed many homes, completed residential and commercial remodels, and was the head of building and maintenance for large apartment and hotel/motel companies. Steven was considered a jack of all trades that could build or fix anything with his hands.

Steve is survived by his children Mindy Leistikow, Troy (Becky) Loga, Lindsay (Douglas) Day, and Susan (Joshua) Minton, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne (Ralph) Miller, sister, Alverda Simcoe, brother, Donald (Judy) Loga, sister, Linda Dahl, sister, Beverly Waldera, brother, Gerald (Marie) Loga, brother, David (Brenda) Loga, sister, Rachel (Ronald) Sosalla, sister Lois (James) Kulig, brother-in-law, Donald Kolien, sister-in-law, Kathleen Loga, sister-in-law, LaVonne Loga and several nieces and nephews

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, his mother, Alma, son-in-law, Larry Leistikow, his sister, Inez Koxlien, brothers, Merlyn and Arlin Loga, brother-in-laws, Robert Dahl, Michael Waldera, and Jerome Simcoe.

Steve will be taken back to where he grew up to be laid at rest with his parents at the Bruce Valley Church and Cemetery in Strum, WI on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at the church.
