Kathleen Ann “Kathy” (O’Neill) Garcia, age 61, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born on November 1, 1959, in Madison, the daughter of Douglas and Nola (Blankenheim) O’Neill. Kathy was a strong believer in Yahuah and Yahushua, and her faith came first in her life. She was always looking for ways to share her faith with her loved ones. She loved spending time with her family. Kathy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her grandchildren adored her, and she adored them. She had a great sense of humor! Kathy was an amazingly talented artist and musician. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing a meal with her loved ones, especially her enchiladas. She was always so generous, putting others before herself when she could.

She is survived by her daughters, Ana (Dan) Flores Redlin, Marisa (Jorge) Vazquez, Angela Kruger and Paola Flores; brother, John (Lisa) O’Neill; grandchildren, Jorge Jr. (Melissa), Shanna (Sam), Shaun, Arianah, Antonio, Olivia, David, Sofia, Ophelia and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Miguel, Mateo, Eliana and Gabriel; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Nola; brother, Jeff O’Neill, grandson, Miguel and nephew, Phillip.

Private family services will be held at Highland Memory Gardens.
