Madison - Patricia L. Balsamo Stowell, age 68, of Madison passed away on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1953 at St. Mary’s of Madison to Elsie G. Hughes Balsamo and Joseph L. Balsamo. Patricia, or better known to us all as Patti, is survived by her mother Elsie Balsamo, sister Debbie Saley Quast (Jim), brothers Robert and Dave Balsamo (Connie), children Stacy Koltes-Linberg (Lonny), Robert and Anthony Stowell, and Lori Malm. On top of being a loving daughter, sibling and mother, Patti was a grandmother to many: Taylor, Michael, Landon, Annessa, Anthony, McKenna, Kendyll, Melissa, Carson and Caleb. She held her nieces and nephews in high regard, loving them dearly. Her memory will live on through her loved ones, including her best friend of 60 years, Marilyn. She graduated from East High and attended courses at MATC. She was a very dedicated employee for the TSA, winning an award for screener of the year 1990. Patti was an animal lover, her two cats Karma and Kato being her pride and joy. Patti was best known for her sense of humor that we will all miss. There will be a memorial and celebration dedicated to Patricia on Monday, November 8, 2021, 12PM-3PM at Ovation 309 in Madison, WI.
