MADISON – Artist, Dancer, Musician, Patricia “Patti” (Magli) Brickson, age 82, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2022. She was born on September 29, 1939 in Madison, WI.

Patti will be remembered as a very talented woman who was passionate about art, music, dance, entertainment, and photography. She loved animals, especially horses, and she cherished spending time in her flower garden, raising butterflies, and feeding the squirrels and birds.

Patti is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim “Brick” Brickson; two sons, David (Lisa) of Phoenix, AZ, and Stephan of Sun Prairie, WI; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Miller; and her sister, Yvonne Lavilla Magli.

No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be considered for a later date. Oh I am so sad to know Pattis beautiful spirit is no longer on this plane. I just found out today. Patti was an old friend of mine many years ago in Mary Kay. We were dangerous to sit next to each other at MK local meetings or at Seminar in Dallas Texas. We could not stop laughing at and with each other. I had a very memorable birthday with her one year. We went out to lunch to celebrate and stayed there til 10:00 pm. We kept calling all our friends to join us the entire time and we had a steady stream of people visiting the entire day. She was lovely, lively and full of fun. I remember her always talking so fondly about her sons. My sympathies to her family.

Dear Jim and family, Jon and I send our deepest sympathy for your sudden loss. Patti and I shared memories from way back from singing with the MATC Show Choir to riding together to Oakwood West for our practice sessions for Encore, to watching our sons swim team activities at the YMCA. These are nice memories. Her neighborhood presence will be very much missed. Blessing to you and the boys.

My deepest condolences to you Brick, your sons and family. I last sat with Patti on your front porch in June of last year. As you know, she was never without a smile or her humor. I moved away from my neighborhood last June, but never far from the warmth and friendship of my former neighbors. I loved walking past your house and knowing if either of you were out, we would exchange some friendly words.Patti introduced me too entertaining in Oakwood Encore and the swing choir, Stepping Out. We had wonderful memories, dancing, many laughs, and a continued desire to love life. I will miss her. Nancy Grothman

Patti was an important member of CIAO!, serving on the board for several years. Everyone who met her knew she was beautiful inside and out. Our deepest sympathies to Jim and the rest of Patti's family. She will certainly be missed.
