So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I met Charlie through my daughter, Nicole. He instantly became a family friend as he was so kind, gentle, funny and appreciative of life. We enjoyed our time with him. He sure knew how to make a person laugh. A favorite memory was going hiking and having a picnic at Yellowstone State Park.

Mrs Roberts,I am so sorry for your loss. My son Matthew grew up with your Matthew. Two peas in a pot. Charlie, Matt and Matt. I knew Charlie since Sandburg kindergarten. I worked on the playground and lunch room. Sending Matthew and Charlie on several time outs. No matter who started it. They were like Brothers. Charlie and Matthew and Matt attended our church Vacation Bible school almost every summer vacation. We all were so saddened by his unexpected death. Your all in our prayers. Hang in there . I have so many memories with you. I'll post this one though. The first time I went fishing with you. I got the line stuck in the tree 3 times. I was about to give up. You were laughing so hard I thought you were going to fall in the water. So you helped me get it out and we went to a different area. Only for me to do the same thing again. I was so frustrated and you were laughing so hard. You said Nicole fishes better than you. I said she does but I'm much cooler. You were laughing so hard. I sat and talked to you that whole afternoon while you fished. I'll never forget that spot. Up off county N by Stoughton. The many hours playing video games and Chris getting irritated. I'd roll my eyes at him and continue to play. We would play for hours. It was exactly a week ago that we played our last game together. We got so far in that game. I'm going to miss gaming with you. All the stupid stuff I'd do in games. You laughing at me. You saying " hold on, I'll come get you." I don't know how many times in games I died but you were sure there. My favorite game to play with you was Far Cry 5. All the laughs we had. I still have that video from that game too. You'll always be my bestie, my everything, my world.

I have many fond memories of Charlie. Even though we had never met in person, his personality and positive attitude left it's mark wherever he went, even in the digital world. We had many laughs gaming, and his laugh would echo through the entire group. I am very thankful that I got to know him and I got the chance to be his friend. Charlie, may you rest in peace, and I hope that one day our souls can meet again so we can share some more laughs and good times.

My favorite memories of my sweet cousin Charlie are from our family vacation in Wisconsin. Going fishing, playing pool, hide and seek, and going to see Blair Witch Project. He is my only cousin who was the same age as I am. He will forever be missed. I love you always sweet Charlie.
