VERONA – Terry Lee Thompson, age 77, passed away on March 14, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1944 in Eau Claire, WI to parents Donald and Harriet (Babington) Thompson. Terry was a 1962 graduate of Verona High School and a 1966 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He was a long-time employee of Miller and Sons Grocery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Terry is survived by his siblings, Peggy Schaars and Jeff Thompson.

Terry always had a smile and was very nice to me. He helped me fill the soda machine in front of Verona Pharmacy every week back when I worked there.He was always ready to help. He will be missed.

Terry and I were the best of friends in high school. He was loyal and was a person of integrity.

Terry was a good neighbor for over 40 years. He always kept himself very busy, especially working in his yard. He was a nature lover and enjoyed his time in the outdoors. Although he was a man of few words, he always said hello and exchanged pleasantries. We were happy to look out for him over the years as needed. Terry will be missed.
