Obituary

MADISON – Aimee Biba, age 41, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. She was the beloved only child of Kenneth and Debra (Dunn) Biba. She was born on August 6, 1980 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI.

Aimee graduated from Madison LaFollette High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the university of Wisconsin, Madison. She enjoyed success in her career and was well respected in her field and by her colleagues.

Aimee was a beautiful, kind soul. She will be dearly missed by many.

She is survived by her loving significant other, Brian Jurkowski; her mother, Deb; grandmother, Arlene Biba; aunts, Diane (Jeff) Hoffman, Darcy Dunn, Dawna Bollig, Donna (Paul) Werth, Barb (Rich) Hurley and two beloved dogs, Stella and Frankie. She is also survived by many dear relatives and friends.

She will be greeted in heaven by her father, Ken; grandmother, Janice Dunn; grandfathers, Philip Dunn and Joseph Biba; uncles, Dale Biba and Alan Hale; her very special cousin, Kristi Hoffman; also, Brian’s father, John Jurkowski.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 4:00PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, Madison. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 2:00PM until time of services. All are welcome.

I was heartsick to hear about Aimee's passing. I worked very closely with Aimee during her employment at the Independent Pharmacy Cooperative for few years. In addition be being a wonderfully talented and extremely diligent and capable work colleague, Aimee was a wonderful person who I felt fortunate to become my friend. I came to depend on Aimee a lot to collaborate on our Government Relations communications to our members. She was an absolute joy of a person. I was very sad when she had to leave IPC in order to take care of her health. I was glad when she did get better to go back to work. I was totally shocked to hear that her condition worsen and that she had passed. My prayers go out to her family for their loss. It is a loss for all of us. My thoughts are especially with her mother for the loss of Aimee. My family went through that experience when my brother passed. I do take comfort in knowing that Aimee's suffering is over and that she is in a better place. Will sure miss her and she sure did leave us too soon. God bless you Aimee. And may you rest in eternal peace.

I will always remember Aimee as a sweet little 5 year old from our Bethel Lutheran Sunday School class. May God give you comfort and peace at this sad time.

I'm very sorry to read of Aimee's passing. She was in my journalism class and La Follette, and I have nothing but the fondest memories of her gentle nature, fun personality, and sweet smile. Journalism class and school newspaper staff members often adopted nicknames for each other. I remember Aimee's was "Aimee Bibababy." I'm smiling just thinking about that and her being part of that close knit group of students. I trust that your tears, Deb, Brian, friends and family members will eventually turn to more smiles at her memory too. Your are in my thoughts. Memory eternal.

Aimee was one of my first friends when I moved to Madison. She was so warm and a joy to be around. We had so much fun together, back in a time when we were just starting our careers and had little responsibility. Her incredibly infectious laugh has been ringing in my head for days. I can't believe she is gone. The world lost a sweet soul. My heart goes out to her friends and family, especially to Deb and Brian. Love to all. Rest in peace dear friend.

Grandma Arlene shared a story about always making French toast for you when you stayed with her and Grandpa Joe. When they were to meet Brian, she made it for you two. She was so nervous to be cooking for a chef that she browned it too much. Dear Aimee, we all are missing you so. Aunt Donna

I miss you, Aimee. Suddenly you were gone from work and our special texts stopped. I knew you were struggling, but I didn't know why. Now you are gone. I wish I could have been there for you. You were the sweetest, coolest colleague and we were fast friends. Thank you for your smile, your ease of heart, your fun nature. God bless you.
