Obituary

Madison- Staci Marlene Skram, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 4, 1964, to Alvin and Marlene (Elsner) Skram in Madison, WI. After the death of her parents at a very young age, Bob, Arlie, Kathy, Karen, and Kenny Falk took her under their wings and provided added support and love.

Staci worked at First Supply for 36 years. They were not just her co-workers and customers but were like her family.

Staci is survived by her brothers, Alan (Joanne) Skram, Steven (Peggy) Skram; nieces and nephews, Brian Skram, Kim Skram, Roger Petkovsek, Tricia Reed, Nicole Souri; and 3 great nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Randy; and close friend Todd Judd.

A private Celebration of Staci’s Life will be scheduled at a later date.

Any memorials if desired can be sent to the Dane County Humane Society.

I've learned a hard lesson in life with Staci's passing: Do not lose touch with those who have been an important part of your life. Staci was my bestest friend throughout my school years. We spent countless summer days and weekends throughout the years playing ping-pong, listening to records, biking to the public library and sleep-overs. She loved her doggies. Her nieces and nephews were so very dear to her as I remember her babysitting them and speaking so proudly of them. As adults we drifted apart. How regretful I feel. To Staci's family and loved ones, I wish you love and great sympathy. My heart aches along with yours. God Bless Staci. I will remember her fondly. Let us not keep wondering how someone is and instead reach out. As time does run out.

We will miss Staci dearly. For many of us, she was the first person we all said good morning to each morning for 36 years. She had the compassion, friendly, always stable approach to our customers and our employees. To say that she will be missed is an understatement- Rest in peace dear friend. Until we meet again.

I remember greeting Staci every morning as I walked in the door to start my day at First Supply. She had such a kind heart, a smile and we always seem to laugh about something during the day. Staci will be greatly missed. My thoughts, prayers and well wishes to her family, friends and co-workers. Rest in peace.
