Obituary
Madison – David E. Kosharek, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Agrace Hospice. David was born on August 2, 1933, in Avoca, WI, the son of Homer and Isabella (O’Brien) Kosharek.
David married Marjorie Manske on June 20, 1969, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa, she preceded him in death on September 26, 1998. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 44 years.
David is survived by his nieces and nephews Rick (Pam) Schmelzer, Linda Bollig, Karen (Duane Tamminga) Schmelzer, Jerry Schmelzer (Mary Beth Haynes), Michael Schmelzer, Nancy Schmelzer-Scott (Gary Scott), Regina (Tom) McIntosh; many great nieces and nephews, and special friends Mark Pond and Penny Simmons.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Kosharek; parents; brother, Delbert, sister-in-law, Bonnie Kosharek, sister, Marie Schmelzer, brother-in-law, Patrick Schmelzer; nephews Roger Kosharek, Robert Kosharek, and Ken Schmelzer.
A special thank you to David’s niece, Karen for her continued companionship following the death of Marjorie. David and Karen shared many adventures through the years.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
