Knowing Syl Kimberley is a source of great joy to me. Her smile, her laugh, and her hugs created, for me, a feeling of love and support. She was and will continue to be a source of support, an example of love and caring, and honesty. I am blessed to have known her and to have had her in my life. I miss you Syl.

Syl and I go back to 1966 when we met st St. Benedict's. Having her as a friend and Sister meant everything to me. I love our memories. Susan (PPD) also left us a few years ago. I'm sure you'll see her some time soon. Give her a hug for me.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Syl doing Group Therapy at Don Shmauz's place. We participated together for years. She was a wonderful, caring and insightful person. We lost touch during the last 2 years due to the pandemic. I am soooo glad that we were able to have coffee a couple months ago and catch up.

My husband and I were backyard neighbors before Syl moved to her Cherokee condo. A year after she moved we did the same thing and, once again, became her neighbor. We didn't know that she was ill and were shocked and dissented to see her obituary.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Syl when we went to Israel together with other St Peter's parishioners and Fr. Charles in 2015. We became fast friends and enjoyed dinners together with a couple of the other gals who went on the trip. Syl always brightened my day with her fabulously funny sense of humor and her unique way of viewing the world that made trials seem lighter and more bearable. I had just had lunch at St. Peter's with Syl a few days before she passed on to Jesus, and we all commented on how we felt the Holy Spirit moving in us that day. It was an unusual and profound experience. Syl was truly an amazing person of great strength and moral character. I think of her often and will greatly miss her. Maureen
