I remember in my early recovery, Scottie took me on a motorcycle ride with others from the B. O. B. (Buddies off booze camp out). We went to a car show with a group and he bought me a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. Which was so yummy, I was trying to figure out if I bought a whole pie how we could get it home on his motorcycle. He said Jennifer that's NOT happening. He will be forever in my memories. Rest in peace Scottie.

Scott and I were Rio classmates and we enjoyed many good times including Cub Scouts. He truly loved basketball so with his optimistic approach to life he has helped many. Sincere condolences to his family.

RIP Scotty! Thank you for your experience, strength, and hope that you shared with us. I have many memories of you at our Monday morning Big Book Study. Your example always motivated me to work a better program. I am grateful to have met you.

Condolences to Scottys family and his extended AA family. Im a grateful member of an Anon family. Scotty was a caring and welcoming guide during the early years when I was struggling with a family member. He was loved by many. My hope is he has mentored many over the years to continue his good work in spreading the message. There is always hope with folks like Scotty in this world. God speed, Scotty.
