I remember Joe was always friendly and kind at the family reunion's my family would attend.

I was so sorry to see Joe's name in today's obituaries. He was a very nice man who supported all of us in Madison when we were just babes. He brought a cake for one of my anniversaries and it was delicious! We really missed him when he moved to Oxford and will miss him more now. Thanks for everything, Joe; we'll see you again.

We will miss you Uncle Joe! You smile an humor & Loving heart will be with us forever. My family I am so sorry for the loss of your Father, Brother and Uncle. My heart breaks for ya all.

I worked with Joe at Rock-Tenn. Joe was always friendly and nice to everyone. He had a good sense of humor, and would sometimes have a joke or two to share! I'll miss you Joe Cool! ❤️😘
