East Bristol - Ronald Lee Pfeil, age 60 of East Bristol, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, surrounded by love, at Agrace Hospice.
Ron (many friends and family may know him as Tootie) was born May 22, 1962 to Gerald and Nancy (Haack) Pfeil. Ron cherished the memories of his youth working along side his father and two brothers on their Easy St. Family farm in Waunakee. He was a master Volvo technician at Smart Motors for 25+ years and finished out his distinguished career at Carmax.
Ron was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed the fall season, hunting in Hollandale on his in-law’s family’s land. He shared the love of this sport closely with his son, Dakota and beloved grandson, Bryson. But, being “Pop-Pop” to his grandson beats them all.
Ron will be greatly missed by all that knew him, especially his family that he held close. He was a wonderful father, and arguably the best grandpa. We will forever hold our never-ending memories, inside jokes and stories we have with him in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Janet (Schoepp) Pfeil. As well as his brother Jerry, father in-law Donald Schoepp and his parents Gerald and Nancy Pfeil.
He is survived by his daughter Lexia Pfeil and son Dakota Pfeil; grandson Bryson Feil; brother Jeff Pfeil; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Our family would like to extend a thank you to St. Mary’s Hospital and Agrace Hospice for their care. Donations can be made to the family of Ron for a memorial to be established at a later date.”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Rex's Innkeeper, 301 N. Century Ave, Waunakee, from 5:00 p.m. until close (12:00 a.m.).
