Obituary
Cross Plains – Shingirai Jane Dossa, age 48, passed away on August 9, 2022, at the UW Hospital. Shingi was born on November 12, 1973, in Harare, Zimbabwe to parents John and Josephine (Mukahadzi) Chirisa.
Shingi attended high school in Zimbabwe. She migrated to the United States in 2004 to further her studies she obtained three Master’s degrees. In 2005, she met her prince Antoine and they later married and were blessed with two children, Mawuenam and Mazvita Dossa. Her hobbies included traveling, meeting new people, giving back to the community, she was very passionate about helping girls with joining the MTC organization in Zimbabwe.
Shingi is survived by her husband Antoine; 2 children Mawuenam and Mazvita Dossa; her mother Josephine Chirisa; 5 siblings, Macjohn (Elizabeth) Chirisa, Sacrificed (Tambudzai) Chirisa, Tapembedzwa (Fiona) Chirisa, Kudzai (Tanya) Chirisa; and byseveral cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Community Church, 3510 High Road, Middleton. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral. Interment will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens.
