Madison - Christine Richolson, age 57, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday August, 9th, 2022 at her home.

She was born to Barbara (Sullivan) and Donald Pokorski on February 22, 1965. She grew up and remained in Madison, WI. She graduated from Madison East High School in 1983. She went on to have various jobs, including 23 years in the Madison Metropolitan School District as a Special Education Assistant. She recently left the school district and became a Health Unit Coordinator for UW Health East Clinic in Madison.

Her proudest accomplishment were her children, Lindsay and Bryce. Even as adults, she saw them as often as she could and enjoyed activities such as biking, horseback riding, listening to live music, and attending craft fairs together.

When Christine wasn’t with her children she was with her significant other, Norbert. Their favorite hobby was riding motorcycles and Christine spent countless hours on the back of Norbert’s bike. They most recently took a small trip to travel alongside the Mississippi River.

Christine was known for the smile always on her face and her cheerful personality. Christine would light up every room she entered.

Christine leaves behind her children, Lindsay (Richolson) Heady and Bryce (Katrina) Richolson; Her Significant Other, Norbert Staszak; Her parents, Barbara and Donald Pokorski; Her brothers, Jeff Pokorski and Dave (Shirley) Pokorski; Her sister, Lynn (Luke) LaBorde and many others.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Club LaMark, 1525 N Stoughton Rd, Madison.

My heart breaks because Christine isn't here anymore. She was a positive, loving soul that everyone loved instantly when they met her. She will be deeply missed by so many. I was blessed to call her a friend and the sister I never had 💔

Christine worked on my Scheduling team at UW Health and was such a positive, bright light to both patients and her coworkers. She always had a smile and kind wird...she will be missed by many. My condolences to her family and friends.
